The views from the house are beautiful. It doesn’t matter which door or window you look out you see mountains and trees.
Stephen kind of worked his last shift. He put his uniform on and went out if he was needed. Ron went for a drive with him once. Sarah spent a good amount of time doing homework and then had a rest with Ace. She is loving all the fur that is surrounding her.
Kylie made a fancy pudding that was very tasty and healthy.
We checked out their toys…the boat, camper and side by side but didn’t put any of it into play due to the rain and Stephen kind of working.
Stephen, Kylie and Sarah went to play pickle ball in the evening. The night before Sarah spent about an hour working out with Kylie and Stephen. She is getting in her gym classes now!
We had pork loin done in the smoker for supper.
It was so good. One of the relief guys working here stopped in and Stephen invited him in to eat. It reminded me of our time in Deschambault Lake. Cook extra just in case.
We did a Sjoelbak tournament after supper. Sarah was in the lead but ended up laying down on the couch after her third round with a heated blanket and a cat and she was gone for the night.
I got my steps on the treadmill before bed while watching hikes from Alberta on my iPad. I was also watching Stephen do a much more intense workout. He has a nice little gym in his house.
I will take more pictures today since pictures are worth a thousand words.
