Exploring

Every morning we wake up and look to see where Stephen and Kylie are and hope for pictures and an update.  They were in Palma, Spain today.

They rented a scooter to tour the area.
They saw some nice scenery.  They are happiest when they can find an animal to pet.

I always ask for food pictures and so we got that too.  They said that they found some in the restaurant that could speak English so it helped them to get fed.

They went to a Coves de Campanet.  I didn’t think I would be able to do the cave exploration but Stephen thought I would have been able to.  It really looked very interesting.

Back in British Columbia…One of the members from Kitimat is filling in at the RCMP.  He stopped in to meet us.  Stephen was his trainer and he wanted to meet his parents.  He bragged Stephen up and it was nice to hear.

This morning, we watched the Good Friday service from home.

After that, we went for walk with the dogs.  There is local dog named Princess who usually leads the way.  This morning she was waiting for us when we walked out of the house.  There is a nice area close to the house with lots of trails and nice views.

After the pups got their exercise, we went for a drive.  We stopped at a cafe and picked up a treat.

We drove into Bella Coola and stopped at the totem pole that is there to remember the residential schools.

We went for a little walk along the shore.

We stopped at another spot which was at the end of the airfield.  We would have walked further but a snake stopped my desire to go any further.

It was another good day.

Ibiza, Bella Coola and a Cyber Incident

We woke up this morning with pictures and messages from Stephen since they are 9 hours ahead of us. The boat had docked at Ibiza, Spain.  I’m sure that they hit the dock running, wanting to experience as much as possible.

They hiked up a steep hill to Castell d’Elivissa or as Stephen said, “we climbed a castle.”

We are able to follow the cruise with the itinerary that they had sent me.

We also check their location through “find my phone.”  That is pretty cool.

Ron took Stephen’s truck into Bella Coola for an appointment at the garage.  While he was waiting for the service to be done, he did some touring and sent us some pictures.

He took a picture of both Kylie and Stephen’s workplaces.  I don’t think either one of them is missing being at work right now.

We are here for a few reasons.  We wanted to visit Stephen and Kylie.  We wanted to see their new area and they needed someone to look after their fur family while they were on their cruise.  Before we could say yes to coming, we needed permission from the school that Sarah would be able to do distance learning.  Her teachers all agreed and it had been going well until today…

Sarah was able to do some reading but she couldn’t get signed on to do any of her work.  We are hoping that things get figured out soon.

Ron bought another hummingbird bird feeder. They are coming.

Another bird showed up too.

Steller’s Jay

It was another beautiful day to spend on the deck.

I hope you had a Lilly kind of a day, soaking in the sun with not a worry in the world!
