Easter Sunday

I woke up at 12:30 am to Murphy barking.  I crawled out of bed and came upstairs.  He was standing at the door so I let him out.  Beemer was on the couch.  I let Murphy back in and went back downstairs.  I just closed my eyes and I heard the dogs moving around.  My eyes opened as I thought about the cinnamon buns on the toaster.  I should have put them in the cupboard.  Out, from under the sheets, I climbed back up the stairs.  I went to the counter and found the cinnamon buns were not there anymore.  I looked around and found the plate on the couch with two guilty looking dogs staring at me.  They seem to be up to no good.  I decided to slip into the bed upstairs so I would be closer to the big hooligans.

This morning, after further investigation, we noticed a dark hair on the plate.  All I know for sure is that the cinnamon bun that I was hoping to have for breakfast is in one the dogs’ bellies, along with some Saran Wrap.

Stephen and Kylie arrived in Naples right about the same time my cinnamon bun went missing.  They had plotted a route for their day.

They are trying to see as much as possible on their Mediterranean cruise.  They rented a Ducati and set out.

Ron research and found out that Napoli is the birthplace of pizza..appropriate meal.

Another day of beautiful sights to see!

Meanwhile, back in British Columbia…I had egg and toast for breakfast.  I’m not bitter! 😡

We watched an Easter service from our home church.

Jovan stopped by to say goodbye before heading back to Kitimat.

We took the dogs for a walk.

We had our chicken Easter Dinner and it was good while watching the Leafs beat the Sens.

Sarah got nominated by one of her friend’s to do a mental health awareness challenge.  We did that after supper.  Ice cold water on the head and then she sat in the sauna for a while.

It was another good day.
