Thankful Thursday

We had a beautiful day here.  The skies were clear, the sun was shining and the temperature warm.  We took the dogs for a walk.  Princess came out to join us. Every day the mountains look a little different and a reason for one more picture or two or three.  

Sarah did some more school work.  I have a feeling this is where Murphy hangs out when Kylie is at her desk.

To celebrate the completion of the essay, we went for a treat.

One of the things that you need to know if you are going to go anywhere in the Bella Coola valley…you HAVE to wave.  Stephen and Kylie told us that it drives them crazy that every one waves.  

With the population in the area being just over 2,000, it makes sense.  We understand the “wave” because that is what our little community in Tamworth does too.  We are all neighbours there and sometimes our waves are to cousins that are in the area.

Meanwhile, 8,500 kms away, Stephen and Kylie were in Cannes, France. “ Cannes is a city located on the French Riviera…… The city is known for its association with the rich and famous, its luxury hotels and restaurants, and …..”Cannes 

Stephen and Kylie were up at 6:00 am and ready for the 6:30 arrival.  They didn’t get on the tender until 8:50.

When in France, you need to have crepes.

They saw some pretty nice sights along their travels. Tomorrow their cruise will come to an end.

While they are sailing back to Barcelona on rough seas, we are cheering for the Leafs.

And they won again!
